Gunna announces new “A Gift & A Curse” album
Gunna made a lot of noise on social media in December, after he was released from jail. He’d been incarcerated since May 2022, as he was indicted as part of the YSL RICO case. However, Gunna copped a plea deal, and was able to come home. Furthermore, he’d been low key and off the radar, since then.
As a result, Gunna went on to release his first single since his release from jail, this month. This is his “Bread & Butter” record, and quickly saw a number 48 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, this week.
Gunna isn’t stopping now, as he also has a new album coming on June 16. The Atlanta rapper made the announcement on social media on Wednesday, as it’s titled “A Gift & A Curse.” He also unveiled the official cover art for this project.
A Gift & A Curse is Gunna’s first album since January 2022, when he released his chart-topping “DS4EVER” project. That became Gunna’s second straight number one, as it was led by the smash hit single, “Pushin P,” featuring Future and Young Thug.
