Shenseea performs at New York’s BRT Weekend Block Party
Grammy-nominated Jamaican sensation Shenseea set Brush Park, New York ablaze this past weekend with a show-stopping performance at the 12th anniversary of Beach Road Trip (BRT) Weekend Block Party. The Caribbean music extravaganza, typically hosted in Coney Island, made its debut in Brush Park, drawing crowds from July 12th to July 14th to celebrate Caribbean heritage.
Shenseea, adorned in a striking SEKS matching two-piece denim set with green flame detailing, mesmerized the audience with renditions of fan-favorites including “Die For You” and “Rebel,” featuring Zum. The highlight of the night was her collaboration with fellow Jamaican artist Masicka on the smash hit “Hit and Run,” from her new sophomore album ‘Never Gets Late Here.’ The energy peaked as Shenseea invited fans onstage for an impromptu dance contest, adding an interactive and engaging twist to her electrifying performance.
Following the festival’s grand finale, which included the themed BRT All White Grand Finale, Shenseea gears up for her highly-anticipated ‘Never Gets Late Here’ North American tour, scheduled to commence on August 16th across 12 cities.
