Scar Lip has been one of the hottest new breakout artists out of New York, coming from The Bronx. Scar has amassed over 120,000 Instagram followers already, and has all of NYC on notice.
Last week, Scar also released her “This Is New York” single. This has quickly gone viral, as it’s one of the biggest drill records out of New York. As a result, Scar is already getting one of the biggest legends in hip-hop and New York, to appear on the remix.
Scar has revealed a video on social media, where she’s in the studio with Busta Rhymes. There, he’s seen rapping along to his verse for the This Is New York remix. Busta even gives Scar a shout out in the verse, as well. This comes after Busta appeared on Coi Leray’s “Players” remix, with DJ Saigee.
However, no official release date for Scar’s This Is New York remix with Busta has been unveiled yet. Meanwhile, fans are still showing plenty of love, and are making this single one of the biggest viral hits out. The release of Busta on the remix will also definitely add on to the quick success that This Is New York has been seeing, over the past week and a half.
