Mathematics Drops “God Body” With Method Man & AZ

Wu-Tang Clan producer and DJ Mathematics is back with a new single and music video, “God Body,” featuring Method Man and AZ.

The new record is available now across all major streaming platforms, while the official music video gives fans a visual companion to the latest collaboration. “God Body” also serves as the first single from Mathematics’ upcoming album, Black Samson: The Saga Continues.

The project is scheduled to arrive on November 6, 2026, through DNA Music.

With Method Man and AZ joining Mathematics on the new record, “God Body” brings together three respected voices from hip-hop’s lyricism-driven tradition. Mathematics provides the production while the two veteran MCs deliver verses centered around spiritual imagery, confidence and their respective perspectives.

The single also sets the stage for another major chapter in Mathematics’ career.

Mathematics Continues The Black Samson Saga

Black Samson: The Saga Continues is the follow-up to Mathematics’ 2025 album, Black Samson: The Bastard Swordsman.

Released in April 2025, The Bastard Swordsman went on to top the iTunes Rap chart, adding another milestone to Mathematics’ extensive career as a producer and member of the Wu-Tang Clan family.

The upcoming sequel is produced entirely by Mathematics and features an impressive collection of collaborators.

In addition to Method Man and AZ, the album includes appearances from Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, U-God, Ransom, Cormega, Rome Streetz, Che Noir, Skyzoo, Planet Asia, Grafh, NEMS and Cory Gunz, among others.

That lineup gives Black Samson: The Saga Continues a connection to multiple generations of underground and lyrical hip-hop.

The project also continues Mathematics’ tradition of bringing together members of the Wu-Tang universe with respected MCs from outside the legendary collective.

“God Body” provides the first preview of what listeners can expect from the upcoming album.

Method Man And AZ Join Forces With Mathematics

Method Man and AZ are two of the most recognizable lyricists to appear on the new record.

Method Man has remained one of the most prominent members of Wu-Tang Clan since the group’s emergence in the early 1990s. His solo career has also produced several acclaimed projects, while his collaborations with other artists have kept him consistently active.

AZ, meanwhile, has built a career around intricate lyricism and a distinctive delivery dating back to his landmark appearance on Nas’ “Life’s a Bitch” from the 1994 album Illmatic.

Their appearance together on “God Body” gives Mathematics an opportunity to pair two veteran MCs over his production.

The song’s title and lyrical themes also fit naturally into the broader aesthetic of the Black Samson series.

Mathematics Has Deep Wu-Tang Roots

Mathematics is much more than a producer associated with Wu-Tang Clan.

He is one of the key creative figures behind the group’s visual and musical identity.

Most famously, Mathematics designed the legendary Wu-Tang Clan logo. The instantly recognizable “W” became one of the most iconic symbols in hip-hop history and remains closely connected to the group decades after its debut.

Mathematics also serves as Wu-Tang Clan’s tour DJ, putting him directly alongside the group during its live performances.

His production credits are equally extensive.

Mathematics has production credits on every Wu-Tang Clan album since the group’s classic debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). His work has helped shape the sound surrounding the collective throughout its long career.

His production résumé also extends across numerous solo projects from Wu-Tang members and affiliates.

Mathematics Has Worked With Multiple Wu-Tang Members

Over the years, Mathematics has contributed production to projects from several individual Wu-Tang members.

His credits include work connected to Method Man, Redman & Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, RZA, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Cappadonna.

That history makes his upcoming Black Samson sequel particularly significant.

The album brings together several artists who have been connected to Mathematics throughout his career, while also introducing collaborations with artists from outside the Wu-Tang family.

Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and U-God are among the Wu-Tang members appearing on the project, while artists such as Ransom, Cormega, Rome Streetz, Che Noir and Skyzoo add their own lyrical styles.

Mathematics Will Reissue ‘Love Hell Or Right’

The Black Samson rollout will continue one week after the new album arrives.

On November 13, Mathematics is scheduled to re-release his debut album, Love Hell Or Right.

The expanded edition will feature additional tracks and appearances from most of the Wu-Tang Clan.

That makes November an especially busy period for Mathematics, with two major releases arriving on consecutive Fridays.

Love Hell Or Right represents another important piece of Mathematics’ catalog and gives longtime Wu-Tang fans an opportunity to revisit his early solo work while discovering additional material.

The expanded edition also gives the project a new connection to the larger Wu-Tang legacy through its guest appearances.

“God Body” Kicks Off The Next Era

With “God Body” officially out now, Mathematics has begun the rollout for Black Samson: The Saga Continues.

The single brings together Mathematics’ production with performances from Method Man and AZ, giving fans a taste of the veteran producer’s next project.

The accompanying music video adds another visual component to the release and puts the three artists together for the latest chapter in the Black Samson series.

Mathematics has spent decades working behind the scenes to help shape Wu-Tang Clan’s sound and identity. From creating the group’s iconic logo to serving as its tour DJ and contributing production across its catalog, his influence extends across multiple aspects of the collective.

Now, he is stepping into another solo era while continuing to connect the Wu-Tang legacy with some of today’s respected lyricists.

Black Samson: The Saga Continues is scheduled for release on November 6, followed by the expanded Love Hell Or Right reissue on November 13.

For now, “God Body” gives listeners the first official taste of what Mathematics has in store.

Wu-Tang is forever.
