GloRilla launches GloVerse beauty platform

GloRilla Launches Her GloVerse Beauty Platform

GloRilla is expanding her entrepreneurial portfolio beyond music.

The Grammy-nominated Memphis rapper, born Gloria Woods, has officially announced the launch of GloVerse. The new technology platform is designed to modernize the beauty industry by connecting consumers with trusted beauty professionals through an on-demand marketplace.

GloVerse is being developed in strategic partnership with OUT.LI.ER. The consultancy is handling the brand architecture, venture strategy and growth strategy behind the company.

For GloRilla, GloVerse comes from a problem she has experienced firsthand throughout her career. Touring, filming, traveling and preparing for performances have often required her to find hairstylists, makeup artists and other beauty professionals in unfamiliar cities.

That experience ultimately inspired her to create a larger solution for consumers and beauty professionals alike.

GloRilla Turns A Personal Problem Into A Business

GloRilla explained that finding reliable beauty professionals was not always easy, even with the resources available to her as an artist.

“GloVerse was built from real life,” said Gloria Woods, President and Founder of GloVerse. “I’ve been in situations where finding the right glam team wasn’t easy, even with all the resources around me.”

She eventually realized that the same problem affects people across the country.

The platform is designed to make finding beauty professionals easier while also creating additional opportunities for independent professionals who may have struggled to build visibility.

GloRilla recently explained that she originally got the idea after having trouble finding beauty professionals early in her career. She also saw how many hairstylists and makeup artists depended heavily on social media and direct messages to find customers.

GloVerse aims to provide another way for those professionals to connect with potential clients.

The platform will allow consumers to discover, book and connect with verified professionals offering a variety of services.

Those services include hair, makeup, nails, skincare, barbering, braiding, locs, lashes, brows, esthetics, henna and body art, men’s grooming and special effects.

GloVerse Beta Is Launching First

GloVerse is initially rolling out as a two-sided marketplace connecting consumers with beauty professionals.

The beta platform is launching in October, with the company focusing heavily on bringing beauty professionals onto the platform across the United States.

Consumers can also sign up, create profiles and secure their GloIDs while providing feedback as the platform develops.

The company is taking a provider-first approach to its rollout. That means GloVerse wants to establish a strong network of beauty professionals before expanding the marketplace further.

The full mobile app is expected by the end of 2026.

One of the platform’s goals is to help consumers find beauty professionals based on their individual needs and preferences. GloRilla has also highlighted personalization features that allow users to enter information such as their hair type and face shape.

Another planned feature will allow consumers to choose whether they travel to the beauty professional or have the professional travel to them.

GloVerse also plans to incorporate AI-powered recommendations to help users discover beauty professionals in their area.

GloRilla Wants GloVerse To Be For Everyone

Although GloRilla’s own experiences helped inspire the company, she emphasized that GloVerse is not intended for one particular demographic.

The platform is being built to serve consumers across different races, genders and ethnicities.

“I didn’t want to make the app available for one gender or one culture,” GloRilla said. “I wanted everybody to be able to use it.”

That inclusive approach is also reflected in the range of services and professionals that GloVerse plans to support.

The company is looking to build a marketplace that can work for people preparing for major events, traveling, getting ready for work or simply looking for reliable beauty services in their city.

GloRilla Is Getting Hands-On With The Company

GloRilla is also taking an active role in the development of GloVerse.

She has been working closely with Georgii Speakman, Founder and CEO of OUT.LI.ER, as the company prepares for its rollout.

GloRilla said they have been communicating regularly about the platform and determining which features would be most useful to consumers and beauty professionals.

Her interest in technology also predates GloVerse.

The rapper explained that she has always been interested in technology and computers. That interest eventually connected with her experiences needing glam services and knowing talented beauty professionals who did not always have the visibility they deserved.

GloVerse therefore brings together several areas that have been important to GloRilla: technology, beauty and entrepreneurship.

The Vision Goes Beyond Beauty Bookings

While GloVerse is launching as a marketplace, the company has much bigger plans for the future.

Beyond bookings, GloVerse plans to develop a broader ecosystem for independent beauty entrepreneurs, small-business owners and traveling professionals.

Future initiatives are expected to include creator collaborations, commerce, live experiences, strategic brand partnerships and additional tools for beauty professionals.

The company also plans to work with beauty brands, retailers, technology companies and cultural organizations.

“GloVerse will eventually entail more than a dual sided marketplace,” Speakman said. “We’re building infrastructure for one of the world’s most entrepreneurial industries.”

The long-term vision is to help beauty professionals build stronger businesses while giving consumers easier access to trusted talent.

GloRilla Continues Expanding Her Entrepreneurial Portfolio

GloVerse marks another major step in GloRilla’s evolution outside of music.

Since breaking through with her viral 2022 hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go),” the Memphis native has continued expanding her career through music, collaborations, major performances and business opportunities.

Now, she is entering the technology and beauty spaces with a company built around an experience she personally understands.

GloRilla also sees GloVerse as an opportunity to create opportunities for other people.

She has emphasized that she wants her legacy to include more than her accomplishments as a recording artist. Instead, she wants the businesses she builds to have a meaningful purpose.

With GloVerse, that purpose is centered around helping consumers find beauty professionals while giving independent talent another avenue to build their businesses.

As the October beta launch gets underway, GloRilla and her team will begin building the professional network that will help shape the platform ahead of its full MVP launch later in 2026.

And as GloVerse continues to develop into 2027, the company plans to explore even more ways to connect beauty professionals, consumers, creators and brands.

For GloRilla, the concept ultimately comes down to three words: finding your glow.
