Carmen Electra reveals she and Dennis Rodman had sex on Phil Jackson’s desk at the Bulls’ practice facility

Carmen Electra sits in a black leather chair during a studio interview, wearing a black turtleneck, with long straight blonde hair over her shoulders and a slight smile. A wooden shelf with a potted plant and a rolled white towel stands to her left, with a large leafy plant in a woven basket behind her.

The “Baywatch” Star Recounts Wild Chicago Nights, a Lakers Helicopter Offer and Why She Changed Her Number

Carmen Electra is telling the story again, and this time she is naming the furniture. In a sit-down podcast interview with host Brooke Goff, the 54-year-old described sex with Dennis Rodman inside the Chicago Bulls’ practice building. She listed the court, the equipment and coach Phil Jackson’s desk. She was laughing as she said it.

Then the story darkened. Electra said the Los Angeles Lakers once offered a helicopter to get her to a game Rodman refused to play. She also said she moved and changed her phone number after the split. Rodman has not publicly answered her account, and Jackson has never confirmed the desk story.

A clip of the interview is now tearing across social media, and the desk line is leading the charge.

A Motorcycle Ride to an Empty Gym

Carmen Electra places the first story early in the romance, back in Chicago. Dennis Rodman put her on the back of his motorcycle, she said. He drove her to the team’s practice court. What came next, in her words, is that they “had sex all over that place.”

She then counted off the locations with her hands. “On the equipment, where they’d play basketball, on the desk — coach Phil Jackson’s desk. You name it.” She capped it with a grin: “It was fun. It was a lot of fun.”

The claim stops there. She did not say anyone else was in the building. She did not say Jackson knew. Electra first told a version of this story in 2020, when she mentioned a blindfold and popsicles from the team fridge. Back then, the coach’s office was only a “possibly.” Now the desk is a direct quote.

The Towel, the Phone Calls and the Helicopter

The second story jumps to 1999 and Dennis Rodman’s brief run with the Lakers. Electra said he did not want to play one night because she was not in the arena. So he sat with a towel over his head. Then her phone started ringing.

“Everyone” called, she said. The message was blunt. She had to get there, and he would not play until she did. They would even send a helicopter. Electra said she put on an outfit and went down to the arena. When she got there, she took her seat, the towel came off, and Rodman played.

Electra told it flatly, almost like a schedule. She never said she asked for the helicopter. The calls came to her, and her arrival ended the standoff. No game report from that season has surfaced to confirm it. Still, the timeline fits. Rodman lasted just 23 games in Los Angeles before the team released him after fines and absences.

Why She Moved and Changed Her Number

The laughter was gone by the third story. carmen said she eventually had to move and change her number. Rodman would come to the house and refuse to leave, she said. He also threatened to get naked outside. Again.

She did not want the police involved. She did not want it to turn into “a big thing.” So she left the address and the phone number behind instead.

Elsewhere in the interview, she explained how the relationship wore her down. She called it “difficult” and “passionate,” and said they were “crazy in love.” But the drinking never stopped, and she could not keep pace with him and his friends. One day she looked in the mirror and saw bags under her eyes and a puffy face. She decided she had to get away, and she returned his gifts. Electra insisted the romance “wasn’t a publicity stunt.” It “was real love,” she said, and it still had to end.

Viewers on X Focused on the Helicopter and the Desk

The helicopter line got the most play. One reply called it “insane pull” that the team would send a helicopter because Rodman would not play without her. Short replies called him a legend. One user said they had partied with both of them in Las Vegas and that it was a good night. Those posts treated the story as evidence of Rodman’s leverage rather than as a claim that needed checking.

The criticism came next. “Her parents must be very proud” drew 241 likes, the highest engagement among the replies sampled. “And she is proud to make this statement. Ew.” drew 49. Other replies called it an attention move, called the telling demented, or said they wanted the image out of their head. Those posts focused on the facility story and the desk line. They did not address the number-change account.

The jokes and side claims filled in the rest. One reply used a reaction clip captioned “Phil Jackson sitting at his desk afterwards.” A low-engagement reply alleged Rodman gave her HSV-2. That claim is not in the interview and not in the reporting cited.

How a Nightclub Meeting Became Bulls Business

The romance started at a Los Angeles nightclub during the 1997-98 season. Electra was a Playboy model and a Baywatch star. Rodman was chasing a third straight title with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. She ignored his calls at first. Then she flew to Chicago, and she has said he told her that first night she was not leaving.

Jackson noticed, and he approved. The coach said that season that Rodman had to get his own motor going. Electra was helping, he said. He called her Rodman’s inspiration and said the forward went out and played for her.

The relationship also produced one of the dynasty’s most famous detours. Rodman took a midseason Las Vegas trip that ran long. Jordan went to get him personally. Electra has said she was naked and hiding when Jordan knocked on the door. Rodman told her who it was and said he had to go to practice.

Nine Days of Marriage and a Record Still Incomplete

They married on November 14, 1998, at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas. The Bulls had just won their sixth championship, and the league was locked out. Nine days later, Rodman filed for an annulment in California. The petition claimed he was of unsound mind.

His camp did not soften it. Lawyer Gerald Phillips said it was early morning and Rodman had been out partying. Agent Dwight Manley said his client was intoxicated. Electra’s publicist said the two had mutually agreed to end things.

Then they reconciled anyway. Rodman signed with the Lakers in February 1999 and said they were married but living in separate homes. By April 6, a spokesman said the marriage was ending amicably. Electra had filed for divorce in Los Angeles. The whole saga ran about a year.

Those filings are documented. So are the Lakers signing and release, and Jackson’s 1998 praise. The desk, the helicopter and the visits to her home rest on Electra’s word alone. No Bulls employee has backed up the facility account, and no legal action is attached to any of it. Rodman, now 65, has not publicly responded. Neither has Jackson, and the next word on the desk belongs to them.
