Swae Lee reveals second leg of “Same Difference” European tour
Swae Lee is extending his SAME DIFFERENCE era with another European tour run.
The Diamond-certified artist has announced the second leg of his SAME DIFFERENCE European headline tour. The new run adds nine dates across Europe this fall, giving fans another opportunity to see Swae perform songs from his debut solo studio album.
The second leg officially begins November 5 in Barcelona, Spain. From there, Swae will travel through several major European cities. The tour will include stops in Amsterdam, Milan, Zurich, Paris, London, Antwerp, Warsaw and Berlin.
Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Thursday, September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
Swae Lee Extends His European Tour Run
The new dates follow the first leg of Swae Lee’s SAME DIFFERENCE European tour.
That run took Swae across 16 cities during the summer. It featured a combination of headline performances and festival appearances throughout Europe.
Now, Swae is returning to the continent for another stretch of headline shows.
The second leg will take him to nine cities in less than two weeks. The run starts in Barcelona before moving to Amsterdam the following night.
Swae will perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam on November 6. He will then head to Milan for a November 7 performance at Fabrique.
After Milan, the tour continues to Zurich on November 9. Swae will perform at Komplex 457 before heading to Paris for a November 10 show at Le Bataclan.
The European run will then make its way to London.
Swae is scheduled to perform at O2 Forum Kentish Town on November 12. He will follow that performance with shows in Antwerp, Warsaw and Berlin.
The final concert of the newly announced leg is scheduled for November 17 at Astra in Berlin.
SAME DIFFERENCE Supports Swae’s Solo Era
The tour comes in support of Swae Lee’s debut solo studio album, SAME DIFFERENCE.
The project is available now on all streaming platforms. It features a number of major artists from hip-hop and R&B, including Post Malone, Jhené Aiko, French Montana, NAV, Rich The Kid and Slim Jxmmi.
The album also gives Swae an opportunity to further showcase the melodic style that has been a major part of his career.
Before becoming a solo headliner, Swae became internationally known as one half of Rae Sremmurd alongside Slim Jxmmi. The duo has delivered several major hits throughout the years.
Swae has also established himself as a sought-after collaborator. His melodic vocals have appeared on songs across hip-hop, pop and R&B.
With SAME DIFFERENCE, he gets to put more of that versatility into one full-length solo project.
That includes songs that lean into melodic rap, while other tracks explore more genre-defying production.
The European tour will now bring those songs to audiences across the continent.
Swae Lee Reunites With French Montana For SUITCASE
One of the album’s notable collaborations is “SUITCASE,” featuring French Montana.
Swae and French recently reunited for the official video for the song. The collaboration also continues a relationship between the two artists that dates back several years.
Their most recognizable collaboration is “Unforgettable.”
The song became one of French Montana’s biggest career records. It also became a massive global hit and eventually earned Diamond certification.
Swae’s memorable melodic performance on “Unforgettable” helped make the collaboration especially recognizable.
Now, the two artists are together again on “SUITCASE.”
The new song gives fans another Swae and French Montana collaboration to enjoy during the SAME DIFFERENCE era. It also arrives as Swae prepares for another run of international performances.
Jhené Aiko And Rich The Kid Appear On The Album
SAME DIFFERENCE features several other major collaborations.
Jhené Aiko appears on “MURAL.” The track brings together Swae’s melodic approach with Aiko’s R&B vocals.
Rich The Kid is also featured on “DON’T EVEN CALL.”
The album’s collaborations help showcase the range of artists Swae worked with for his debut solo project. They also add different sounds throughout the album.
Other songs include “FLAMMABLE,” which further highlights Swae’s melodic delivery.
