JAŸ-Z concludes second straight sold-out London show
JAY-Z officially closed out his two-night London run on Saturday, September 5, with another spectacular performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The rap icon delivered a career-spanning set packed with classics, fan favorites, deep cuts and major moments, bringing his JAŸ-Z 30 run to a memorable conclusion in the UK.
The second London show followed Friday night’s opening performance, also held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both concerts celebrated 30 years since the release of JAY-Z’s landmark debut album, Reasonable Doubt, while also recognizing the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.
Across the two nights, JAY-Z gave London fans an extensive look at a catalog that has helped define hip-hop for three decades. The shows featured a mixture of massive commercial hits and songs that longtime fans have continued to celebrate throughout his career.
JAY-Z Brings Sampha and Dave to the Stage
Saturday night’s concert featured a fresh group of special guests, including two prominent UK artists.
Sampha joined JAY-Z onstage for “No Church In The Wild,” giving the crowd a live performance of one of JAY-Z and Kanye West’s most recognizable collaborations. The song originally appeared on Watch the Throne, the 2011 joint album between JAY-Z and Kanye West.
The appearance created a major connection between JAY-Z’s international catalog and London’s thriving music scene.
UK rap star Dave was another major guest during the second show. Dave performed his hit “Raindance,” giving the packed Tottenham Hotspur Stadium another memorable moment.

Some of the biggest reactions of the night came from JAY-Z’s most recognizable records.
“Empire State of Mind” remains one of the rapper’s defining anthems, while “99 Problems” has become one of the most recognizable songs of his career.
“Dirt Off Your Shoulder” also appeared in the set, continuing a run of songs that have remained staples of JAY-Z’s live performances.
The rapper also performed “N*ggas In Paris,” his massive collaboration with Kanye West from Watch the Throne, before moving into “Big Pimpin'” and “PSA.”
The concert ultimately closed with “Numb/Encore,” the JAY-Z and Linkin Park collaboration that became another major crossover moment in his career.
A Star-Studded Crowd in London
The stage wasn’t the only place filled with major names.
Saturday’s crowd included a long list of celebrities and notable figures. Madonna, Sabrina Elba, Central Cee, Tinie Tempah, KSI, Lucy Bronze, Vogue Williams, Little Simz, Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Bashy were among those spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The star-studded attendance was fitting for an event celebrating one of hip-hop’s most influential careers.
Friday night’s audience was similarly packed with major names, with David Beckham, Cynthia Erivo, Michael B. Jordan, Jordan Dunn, Olivia Dean, Rick Rubin, Thomas Tuchel, Dave, Viddal Riley, AJ Odudu and Kano among those reported to have attended.
The first night also featured a particularly personal moment when JAY-Z celebrated his wife Beyoncé’s birthday during the concert. The crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to Beyoncé while fireworks erupted around the stadium.
Celebrating 30 Years of Reasonable Doubt
The London concerts carried additional significance because 2026 marks 30 years since JAY-Z released Reasonable Doubt.
Released in 1996, the album established JAY-Z as one of hip-hop’s most important emerging voices. Songs such as “Dead Presidents II,” “Can I Live,” “D’Evils,” “Politics as Usual” and “Feelin’ It” helped establish the sound and lyrical style that would become central to his career.
Three decades later, the album remains a major part of JAY-Z’s legacy.
The anniversary is also being celebrated alongside the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint, another foundational album in his catalog. The project arrived in 2001 and featured songs including “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Song Cry,” “Never Change” and “Takeover.”
