The matchup brought together two generations of West Coast rap, with both artists digging deep into their catalogs and performing some of their biggest records. The event took place in Los Angeles and gave fans an opportunity to celebrate the rich history of California hip-hop while watching two of the region’s most recognizable rappers go hit-for-hit.

The battle also provided another reminder of just how extensive The Game’s catalog has become.

The Compton rapper has been releasing music at a high level since the early 2000s, giving him an enormous collection of songs to choose from in a VERZUZ setting.
