SZA continues to be one of the most dominant artists in the industry, over the past year and a half. This came as a result of her 2022 sophomore album, “SOS.” Moreover, this project even earned SZA three more Grammy wins, this past spring. These included wins for Best Urban Contemporary R&B Album, Best R&B Song (Snooze), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Ghost In The Machine featuring Phoebe Bridgers).”

Furthermore, SZA continues to make even more history with SOS. It has now become the first album by a Black woman to surpass 8.4 billion streams in Spotify history. SOS initially contained 23 songs, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. The album was led by smash hits such as “Snooze,” Shirt,” the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Kill Bill,” and more. As a result, SOS became SZA’s first number one album on the Billboard 200 chart, and is 5x platinum in the US,

Meanwhile, SZA’s next album is also on the way. Last weekend, she confirmed during her BST Hyde Park performance, that this project is still in the works. A release date and title is still being finalized.
