Late Friday night, SZA delivered an impressive cover to an iconic record. This is to Eminem’s 2002 “Lose Yourself.” This song was initially released in 2002, as it appeared on the “8 Mile” soundtrack.

Furthermore, fans went on to applaud SZA’s cover to Lose Yourself. This comes comes amid the wait for her highly anticipated “Lana” album. In SZA’s Instagram post, she explained that this cover won’t be on a project, and that it’s just for her mental health.

In February, SZA added three more Grammy wins to her legendary resume. These included wins in the categories of Best R&B Song (Snooze), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Ghost In The Machine ft. Phoebe Bridgers), as well as Best Urban Contemporary Album (SOS).

Last fall, SZA began teasing her Lana album. She initially revealed at an NYC event, that 8-10 songs would be in the works. In December, she went on to release various cover arts for the album, but has yet to confirm an official release date. Many hope that sometime by the end of 2024 will be the end result.
