Nicki Minaj cancels second Amsterdam concert after recent arrest
Last weekend, Nicki Minaj was arrested in Amsterdam for apparent drug possession. That was prior to boarding her flight for her show in Manchester, England. As a result, she went on to say on Twitter/X, that she spent 5-6 hours in jail. Furthermore, Nicki also had to cancel her Manchester concert, that night. That has since been rescheduled to June 3.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has also canceled her second Amsterdam concert. That was supposed to take place, this weekend. Nicki hasn’t spoken on this publicly yet, but fans seemingly understand the decision, amid the recent arrest incident.
Nicki Minaj’s European/UK leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour will run until July 14, in LiĆ©ge, Belgium. This comes after Nicki also announced dates for the second leg of the tour that is coming to the US, this fall. That will kick off on September 4, in Philadelphia.
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 album was initially released in December, and was her first album since 2018’s “Queen.” 25 songs were released in total, including features from Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Monica, Keyshia Cole, 50 Cent, and more. As a result, Pink Friday went on to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart, and became Nicki’s third number one album.
