Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” tops Apple Music list
Over the past week, Apple Music has been releasing their 100 Best Albums List. A few days ago, the streaming platforms soon teased their top 10.
As a result, Apple Music’s full 100 Best Albums list is now here. The iconic Lauryn Hill claimed the top spot, for her classic 1998 debut studio album,”The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” This project debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, and is certified diamond by the RIAA in the US.
“The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” contained 16 songs in total, including collaborations with Mary J. Blige, Carlos Santana, and D’Angelo. The album was led by the classic “Doo Wop (That Thing)” single. That record peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is currently gold in the US.
Meanwhile, Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” topping Apple Music’s 100 Best Albums list also comes as she recently teased the sequel to this album. Last week, she briefly spoke with TMZ, after performing with her son YG Marley on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” There, she nodded when asked about the sequel, and said soon. Marley also added that she has new music on the way.cThe Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is still Hill’s latest studio album.
