Kendrick Lamar goes platinum with Drake diss track “Euphoria”
This month, Kendrick Lamar has been the biggest topic of the music industry. This is due to his various Drake diss tracks that he’s released. These include “Euphoria,” “6:16 In LA,” “Meet The Grahams,” as well as the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Not Like Us.”
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar has also just reached another major milestone with Euphoria. It’s now at platinum eligibility in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 1 million units.
On Euphoria, Kendrick called out Drake for allegedly getting plastic surgery, as well as not embracing his Black side. Moreover, this single also went on to peak at number three in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Kendrick Lamar initially began calling out Drake in late March, during his featured verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s Hot 100 chart-topping “Like That.” That record also included shots at J. Cole, but Cole quickly backed out of that feud, a week later. That came after Cole dropped his “7 Minute Drill” response on his “Might Delete Later” mixtape, but the song went on to be removed from streaming platforms, the next week.
