50 Cent has consistently elevated, throughout his career. A few months ago, it was announced that he was launching a film studio in Shreveport, Louisiana. All of this comes twenty one years after 50 Cent initially took over the game. First, 50 gained fame as a rapper. Quickly, he became the highest selling rapper in the game. One of his first business forays was in film. Now, 50 Cent has his own film studio that launched in Shreveport, Louisiana, today.
50 Cent originally ventured into films with the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ film. Years later, he did a movie to go along with his album, Before I Self Destruct. That film was a part of a $200 million deal 50 Cent received to create movies. The most discussed movie from that deal was All Things Fall Apart, where 50 lost a lot of weight in order to play a cancer patient. Then, in 2013, 50 Cent began truly making his mark with the “Power” franchise, which launched his Starz partnership.
50 Cent enjoys a successful partnership with Starz, but it’s not without its flaws. As a result, 50 has often threatened to leave Starz and do his own projects. Now, 50 Cent is taking steps towards doing something like that. In December, he purchased buildings in Shreveport, Louisiana, for his film studio. Now, 50 has officially launched these studios. With that, he promised jobs for the locals at this studio, which has left many people excited.
