Much of this stems from her working with Cardi B. Prior to Megan’s arrival on the mainstream, the female rap world was divided between Nicki and Cardi. Clearly, Megan was who the fans chose. With “Hiss,” she has her first solo single at number one on Billboard Hot 100. As a result, she shared a celebration video.

Megan Thee Stallion put in a lot of work and she built a groundswell of support in 2018. After that, she emerged as a mainstream star in 2019. By the time summer hit, Megan had her first top ten single, which was a major accomplishment for her. She released the “Hot Girl Summer” single with Nicki Minaj, someone she looked up to, and Ty Dolla $ign. Within six months, she topped Billboard with “Savage,” when Beyonce jumped on the remix.

Megan Thee Stallion has certainly done her thing and “Hiss” has had people talking. She addressed some issues with Nicki Minaj, leading to Nicki dropping two diss records. Initially, fans said Megan has to respond to Nicki’s disses. However, when “Hiss” debuted at number one on Billboard Hot 100, the message was sent, loud and clear. In the wake of this success, Megan has now began celebrating, sharing a video of herself celebrating this feat.
