Recently, Metro Boomin and Drake have appeared to throw subliminal disses at each other, on social media. However, this came as a surprise to many, due to the fact that the two have collaborated on plenty of occasions, in the past.

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin is now speaking on the Drake beef rumors, on Twitter/X. He recently had a Q&B session on the app, as one fan asked if the Drake beef is legit, or if it’s simply “not that deep.” As a result, the Grammy-nominated producer went with the “not that deep” reply.

This comes as Metro’s “Heroes & Villains” album also became the most streamed rap album of 2023, on Spotify. That came as a result of accumulating over 3.3 billion streams. That project was initially released in December 2022, and went on to debut at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, that was also Metro’s third consecutive number one project, overall. In November 2020, he and 21 Savage went number one with their joint album, “Savage Mode 2.” In addition to the Heroes & Villains album, Metro executive produced the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” soundtrack.
