SZA’s “SOS” album reaches 4x platinum eligibility

SZA’s “SOS” goes 4x platinum

Over the past year, SZA has been dominating the charts with her sophomore album, “SOS.” This project was SZA’s first since her 2017 debut studio album “Ctrl,” and also went on to become her first album in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. As a result, SOS went on to spend seven straight weeks at number one, and 11 in total.

Meanwhile, SOS has reached another impressive milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now reached 4x platinum eligibility in the US. This comes after selling over 4 million units.

Furthermore, SOS contained plenty of hits. These included “Shirt,” “Good Days,” as well as the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Kill Bill,” which became SZA’s first number one song. Moreover, the remix also went on to feature Doja Cat, in the spring. SOS contained 21 songs in total, and featured appearances from Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, as well as the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

Last night, SZA also concluded the second leg of her SOS North American Tour. The final show took place in Phoenix, AZ. The first date was held on September 20, in Miami. The first leg of the tour initially began in February, and SZA took the show on the road to Europe, in the summer. However, a mini tour will also be in the works, after the “SOS” deluxe is released, which will be titled “Lana.”
