Kerry Washington is currently promoting her new book, Thicker Than Water: A Memoir. This book details her journey from being a little girl from The Bronx to one of Hollywood’s biggest names. After years of taking on smaller roles in various TV shows and movies, Washington got her big break. In 2012, she was cast as ‘Olivia Pope’ on “Scandal.” For six years, she diligently played that role, and it made her into a household name.
