Tyler, The Creator took the game by storm in 2011 and didn’t look back. Few people could have predicted that Tyler would be the 2011 rapper with staying power. However, that’s exactly how things turned out. A lot of things have changed, but Tyler, The Creator and Odd Future have made their impact. This is so much true that LeBron James had Tyler over for his wife, Savannah’s birthday party.
Tyler, The Creator rose to fame, in part, by dissing LeBron James. On Game’s “Martians vs. Goblins” song, he insulted many celebrities. When Tyler got on his verse, he insulted several people, including Game, himself. As a result, Game ad-libbed his own insult to Tyler. Furthermore, at the end of Tyler’s verse, he poked fun at LeBron’s Heat losing the 2011 Finals, against the Dallas Mavericks.
Tyler, The Creator went from insulting LeBron James to partying with him. Usually, this is how life goes, as people insult the things they want to be a part of. After years of insulting the in-crowd, Tyler has become the in-crowd. At this point, there’s nothing more in than LeBron James. LeBron is the first active billionaire NBA player. Recently, Tyler was at LeBron’s wife, Savannah’s, birthday party, and he was leading the “Happy Birthday” song.
