Lil Uzi Vert’s producer explains “The Pink Tape” delay
Over the past year, Lil Uzi Vert fans have been waiting on him to deliver his next studio album, “The Pink Tape.” During his performance at Rolling Loud California in March, he emphasized that it was on the way.
Meanwhile, one of Uzi’s producers is now explaining the delay in The Pink Tape. This is Lyle A LeDuff Jr, who says they don’t want this project to be rushed, and definitely want it to be a classic. Therefore, LeDuff added that The Pink Tape has great songs, but doesn’t want the final project to be a bunch of random ones.
Meanwhile, Uzi’s last project was his summer 2022 “Red & White” EP. Nine new songs were included. Furthermore, he went on to score one of the biggest records of his career in the fall, with “Just Wanna Rock.” As a result, that single went on to see a peak of number number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and is 2x platinum in the US. Just Wanna Rock has been played at every party in the US, and is even played by artists during their own performance sets.
