SZA’s “SOS” on pace for 11th total week at number one
SZA’s new sophomore album “SOS” has been making plenty of history, since its December 9 release. It initially debuted at number one in the US on the Billboard 200 chart, as that also marked SZA’s first number one album. SOS spent its first seven weeks at number one.
SOS took a short one-week hiatus at number one, but has since returned to number one, for two straight weeks now. As a result, its momentum continues to ride high, as it’s on its way to its 11th total week at number one.
According to Chart Data, SOS is on pace to move 84,000 additional units, this week. Karol G’s new “Mañana Será Bonito” album is projected to land at second, with 81,000 units in its debut.
SOS is led by hits such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” “Shirt,” and “Kill Bill.” Kill Bill also currently stands at number two in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s also at 2x platinum status in the US.
SZA also kicked off her SOS North American Tour, last week. Her next show will be taking place on March 2, in Philadelphia.
