Ice Spice’s “Gangsta Boo” is her first Billboard Hot 100 record
Ice Spice has been one of the hottest new artists out, as she stormed onto the scene, in August. At the time, Spice’s “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single with Lil Tjay went viral, and she soon became an internet sensation. Fans fell in love with that record, as well as her image. In the fall, Spice went on to release her “Bikini Bottom” single. Earlier this month, the Bronx rapper kicked off 2023 with her “In Ha Mood” single.
This month, Spice also went on to put out her debut EP, “Like..?” That project contained six songs, including her recent singles. It soon debuted at number 37 in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. The EP also contained the anticipated “Gangsta Boo” record, which features fellow Bronx native, Lil Tjay. Spice and Tjay were supposed to shoot the video for this collaboration this month, but was halted due to him being arrested for gun possession.
However, Gangsta Boo is now starting to heat up. It has now debuted at number 82nd on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This also becomes Spice’s first Hot 100 record.
